Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Place An Order

We can’t wait to dream with you! Fill out the request form below with an email address, and your best description of what you would like! Check out our gallery for ideas!

What is Wheel Thrown Pottery?

Wheel thrown is a method where the artisan or potter takes a lump of solid, yet wet, clay and molds it with their hands while the clay spins on a potter’s wheel. The piece once sculpted is dried and fired in a kiln, then painted or dipped in glaze and fired again. Each piece is handmade – no mass production possible with wheel thrown pottery!

Can I Place a Bulk Order?

Yes! We can create a bulk order (e.g., of mugs or plates) for your coffee shop or other business. We can create specific stamps, logos and items per your request. Keep in mind that creation time may increase and while we can recreate the same mug, with any handmade item, there will be slight variations in the glaze color and coverage, shape and size. The beauty of handmade pottery is that each piece is unique!

How Are Items Priced?

We have a standard pride list for main items (e.g., mugs, plates, berry bowls, etc.). Additional costs include custom logo stamps, specialty glazes or glazing techniques, etc. For all inquiries we provide a full and transparent quote so there are no surprises.

Shipping

The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs, we do our best to compare pricing via USPS, UPS and FedEx. Shipping costs vary by weight. If you are local, we can arrange pickup to reduce costs!
